A delightful, funny read...a bit risque (not for the kiddos!) but fun if you have a sense of humor and enjoy some bawdy reading occasionally.
Great story for lovers of the genre.
I remember purchasing this Book in England quite a while ago (from Whsmiths in my home town) It's a great book but I remember the paperback I bought had 3 volumes not just the one contained in this download, it also had the story of August and Agnes, and August's mother going to England, their ship voyage and a little of when they got to England, it also had another story unrelated to the first 2.
I had assumed all 3 volumes would be included with the download, alas not, and alas I cannot find volume 2 anywhere.
Well written but kind of boring.
This, I belive was part of the Victorian paper that came out on some schedule I imagine, The Pearl.
I love Victorian Erotica. They were so repressed that when they did take pen in hand the
they were so wonderfully graphic. Having said that, this was over the top. It was stuck on one topic and it almost became off-putting. Actually it was for me, so much do thst I deleted it from my .
