This book gives you a deeper understanding of Mikalo and where he came from, why he loves so strongly and it gives you a stuck in your heart love for him and Ronan.
“It is so important that I find in my beauties something to kiss. They must be kind, they must be gentle and have hearts of passion. And joy. They must smile with their soul and not just their lips. They must have a beauty that comes from more than just the breast or this smile or a beautiful ass.”
How do you not fall in love with a man that can word himself and his love like that?! He speaks directly to your soul and he is what fairy tales are written about, he gives you that feeling that Prince Charming is real and is out there.
I love that we also got to invest in other relationships while falling in love. Deni is maybe my favorite Book Best Friend and she cracks me up with her personality and how she is so open and honest with Ronan. I also met the character I love to hate while reading, Mara “The Byzan”

Yeah she creates quite a stir of emotions that little peach, but then again doesn’t every fairy tale need a bad apple?
“My appetite,” he then said, his eyes again on the trees. “Like with food and your kisses and the smell of your skin, my appetite is a very big one.” Sneaking my hand into his lap, I wove my fingers into his, feeling his hardness beneath my fist. “I Like your appetite,” I said, drawing close to brush my lips against his cheek. “My Grace,” He then whispered, his head turning as he pressed his lips close to mine.
“I am hungry.”
Oh I am hungry, Hungry for book three I can’t wait to see where Syndra takes their journey!! I can’t wait to see a wedding, to see relationships unfold further and I can’t wait to see this love story take the next step.

This story had so much potential to be a beautiful, hot love story but it got lost somewhere in the writing, in my opinion. I really wanted to love this story becuase deep down i did, i love the characters and the basis of the story but the writing i found was jumpy and sporatic in parts and at times i had to re-read things because I was confused because the story moved so fast. I do want to read the third book because I did like most of the characters and the story line. The writing style was just a bit fast and confusing for me. Would still recommend though.
Great continuation. Just enough drama...ridiculously sexy love scenes that draw you in. Just as good as Mikalo's Grace. Highly recommend!
This book was just okay for me. I was enthusiastically awaiting the release of this second book and was delighted when it appeared on 's s site. However, the book didn't flow as well as the first one; it wasn't as interesting, and, at times, it felt a bit disjointed. Even more surprising, It the sex scenes seemed a bit stale...I was unpleasantly surprised! Demi...this character needs more development. It's to get a good feel for who she is. And the status with her soon-to- be ex...the author needs to give us a better view of this marriage. It was until the last 30% of the book that I felt a change in the plot, when it became truly interested. I hope the next book will satisfy!
I really enjoyed the first book in the series and found myself loving the second installment way more than the first! I love the chemistry grace and mikalo have! This follow up will not disappoint!
This is one hot book I wish I had a Mikalo in my life. He has such a silver tongue It will make you melt It has a great story that keeps you guessing as to what Mikalo is going to do He calls his girlfrien "my Grace" He is just too much You will fall in love with him
This is the second book in the series and is just as enjoyable as the first. We now follow Ronan & Mikalo as they start a life together in New York. Ronan has never been a slacker but she decides she needs to work harder at the office to compensate for all the time she has been spending with Mikalo. Even though she's trying her hardest, she still feels like someone at the office is trying to sabotage her image. Between the sabotage & the bratty client she has to deal with, it leaves us to wonder if her & Mikalo will overcome their issues. This was a fantastic read & I cannot wait for book three to be released. I cannot wait to see what's in store for this couple.

As much as I loved Mikalo's Grace, Mikalo's Flame was even better. It's so nice to read a contemporary romance about a 30-something woman and her love life. This is the same reason I love Kristen Ashley so much, most readers just can't relate to the early 20's crowd, let alone want to read about them all the time.
Ronin is such an intelligent, independent, successful woman, who thinks rationally, which again, is such a refreshing thing to read. Her romance and relationship with Mikalo is like nothing I've read before. Not only do we feel the connection between the two, but we also see and feel the uncertainty Ronin feels about what she wants in both her career and her relationship. It's not all hearts and flowers, or insta-love. The reader cannot predict where this love between the characters is headed, or if they will in fact get their HEA.
Of the whole story, the last page has stuck with me well after finishing this book. It's perfect beyond words, and I can't help but think what a genius Ms. Shaw truly is.
